Bereaved

 

In silent Forest

On star lit night

By crystal waters

Her eyes delight

​

On snow capped mountain

The sun dawns bright

Reflections in crimson

Her cheeks ignite

​

And rose red petals

On stem of thorns

Blood flows freely

Her lips adorn

​

Like webs of silk

In morning dew

Like blackest night

Her hair thus grew​

​

Oh soft white blanket

Of new fallen snow

Like the kiss of an Angel

Her skin apropos​

​

And as the sweet air of spring

Brings the song of the birds

Like flowers unfolding

Her smile inferred 

​

An image of beauty

A soul of Pure Light

Majestic in being

My heart takes to flight

​

Then I wake from my Dreaming

Her taste on my lips

Her image fast fading

My Memory Eclipsed
