
The Measure of Life
I. Life, all Life, has an Innate Value; a base worth.
A. Living things have greater Innate Value than Non-Living things.
i. It is better to have Life than to not have Life.
B. Human Life has the greatest Innate Value.
C. Animal and Plant Life is of a Fixed Value.
II. The Value of Human Life is not fixed.
A. Human Life can gain or lose Value based upon its Merit.
i. This is True for both individuals and groups.
ii. A Human Life that serves to better Life increases in Value.
iii. A Human Life that serves to hinder Life decreases in Value.
III. The Right to Self Preservation is Sacrosanct.
A. The Value of Human Life is Subjective.
i. Each individual places the Greatest Value on their own Life.
a. Or the Lives of those they hold dear.
B. The Value of Human Life is also Objective.
i. The Sum Value of each Life is determined by how it is lived.
C. An individual who seeks to harm another Unjustly reduces their Value below that of their target.
i. In matters of Self Preservation, the individual with the Greatest Life Value is entitled to preserve themselves at Any Cost to the Aggressor.
a. However, One is still obliged to act only to the extent required by the actions of the Aggressor to stop said actions and preserve One's life; without Punitive Retaliation.
